JOB/NFB: 800-638-7518 JOB NETWORKING AT CONVENTION The annual convention of the National Federation of the Blind (NFB) has above 2,500 persons in attendance, most of them blind. This may be your best chance all year to meet blind persons working (or looking for work) in the same field that interests you. Professional job developers, teachers, or counselors with blind clients, are invited to come network to find more data for the people they serve. In addition to attending the professional seminars of the blind teachers, blind lawyers, and more, join the informal JOB Networking Breakfasts. All JOB Networking Breakfasts begin at 7 a.m. in "The Oasis," the main restaurant of the Anaheim Hilton, and are BYOB (Buy Your Own Breakfast). People with the same interests are seated family style with a coordinator who is an expert in the topic. Reservations are helpful but not required.
